Mack Livery Design Concept
How we worked on the livery design
Inspired by Adidas’ sponsorship with Mercedes AMG Motorsport team in the GT3 category, we tried to work ona a graphic concept, and we tried to create an iconic Adidas livery design based and focused obviously on the Adidas logo, but that at the same time was not too ‘basic’.
We placed the Adidas logos on the car body in different sizes and with different angles to frame them in the best possible way, then we gave them different colors and finishes, like vinyl white, or metal chrome, which are both color and finishes that creates a strong visual contrast with the black matte background.
We also finally added a pattern composed of many small Adidad logos, placed on the roof and rear tailgate of the car, that recalls the typical Mercedes AMG pattern composed of the Mercedes star logo (typically used in F1 car livery). Even for this pattern, we used a metal chrome vinyl that, under the lights, creates a super cool effect in combo with the matte black background.
